Why listen to me?

I graduated with a degree in journalism from Rochester Institute of Technology and have been writing ever since. After working in fashion and lifestyle at Marie Claire, I made my way into food at BBC Good Food and olivemagazine.com. I’ve always had a passion for homeware and turning my place into the perfect sanctuary.

About my real home

I live in a Victorian conversion, so I like to preserve the period features, like stained glass windows, the best I can. I like to keep my space light and airy with natural materials and neutral colors. Cozy touches like fluffy throws and ambient lighting are essential for me to unwind.

My fave home buys

My absolute fave home buy has to be the Our Place Always Pan. As stylish as it is practical, I use this every day and it looks gorgeous on my worktop. If I’m looking for a real treat, the Glossier Orange Blossom Neroli candle is the perfect splurge.

On my to-buy list

I’ve been eyeing up the cordless Dyson vacuums for years and may finally take the plunge.
