I'm upgrading my bedroom and found the best bamboo bed sheets that are seriously the softest in the game.  Sustainably made from natural bamboo and finished with a smooth sateen weave, I personally can't get enough.

Beyond how it feels, this material also has some pretty serious benefits when it comes to sleep and well-being. But more on that later. These are the bamboo bed sheets I'm currently obsessed with that'll help you live out your little luxe life.

Wondering which are the best bedding brands — especially for eco-friendly bedding sets? We've got you covered.

The gorgeous bamboo sheets we've been lucky enough to get our hands on have been given to us free of charge. These are our favorite bamboo bedding sets based on factors like quality of construction, material, breathability, color options, value for the money, and ease of care.

How to choose

  • Size: Bedding isn’t a one-size-fits-all situation. In addition to buying sheets that match bed size — twin, twin XL, full, queen, king, or California king — you will need to take the depth of your bed into consideration. Make no mistake, most mattresses are compatible with a traditional set of sheets. However, if your mattress’ height exceeds 14 inches, you’ll likely need to invest in deep-pocket sheets.
  • Material: So you've settled on bamboo, but when it comes to choosing the best set for you, there’s a good chance you've prioritized softness above all else. But the variation of bamboo fabric you choose can play a huge role in overall comfort. Lightweight, breathable blends like bamboo viscose will keep you cool. Conversely, bamboo with polyester will be the coziest. Eucalyptus sheets are a perfectly sustainable alternative with a super silky finish. Ultimately, they look the sexiest. Want your bedding to get Mother Nature’s seal of approval? Keep an eye out for sheets with Fair Trade, Oeko-Tek, or GOTS certifications.
  • Cost: Bamboo bedding is expensive. Some of the best bamboo sheet sets can cost into the hundreds (sigh, I know), so working out how much you want to spend is essential for figuring out what brands and material blend you'll opt for.

Our former global editor-in-chief, Melissa can't get enough of the Cozy Earth sheets

"I didn’t think bedding could actually be life-changing until I tried these sheets from Cozy Earth. My husband is a hot sleeper, I’m constantly shivering, and the seasons factor into how we feel, too. In short, finding a happy medium with bedding has been a nightmare. This set is buttery soft to the touch and neither of us has woken up at an uncomfortable temperature since we first put them on. I refuse to buy any other sheets — they are so worth the investment and work year-round."

Bamboo is quickly becoming the most popular material to choose from when it comes to bedding, so you might want to grab a bamboo pillow, too. Bamboo bed sheets have benefits that go beyond their eco-credentials. Kind to the planet and to your skin, bamboo is naturally temperature-regulating, hypoallergenic, moisture-wicking, odor-resistant, and ultra-breathable.
