Now I have a back garden that has different surface other than grass, I needed to pick up a pressure washer to keep everything clean. I did some testing of various brands and came up with a list of my favourites. They needed to be able to clean concrete, decking, and my car to show they were worth the cut.
Kärcher K2
The best in the business
Karcher has been the biggest name in home pressure washing for as long as I can remember. In fact, its name is almost synonymous with pressure washers throughout the UK.
This particular washer is the perfect balance between cost and quality and comes with a set of lances for direct control and an excellent deck and concrete washing module. The Karcher did a fantastic job removing all of the slick moss from my decking.
Bosch EasyAquatak 120 High Pressure Washer
Lightweight and easily portable
If all you need is something compact to wash the dirt from your car or bike then the Bosch EasyAquatek is the machine for you. At 110 bar it isn't the most powerful on the list but if you are using it to keep things clean rather than remove years of caked in dirt you'll be fine. The best thing though is it can fit on a shelf easily!
Ryobi RPW150XRB Corded Pressure Washer
Everything you need for every occasion
When it comes to the full suite of accessories the Ryobi is king. The pressure washer comes with two different lances, a deck/patio cleaner with a built-in detergent bottle, and a neat little scrubber to help clean your car. One of my favourite things on the Ryobi is the hose reel. It really helps to keep everything organized.
WORX 20V MAX Cordless Hydroshot
A safer alternative to mains power
I have always been a little concerned about working with a lot of water and a lot of power, but having a cordless pressure washer negates a lot of that worry. Of course, it isn't completely cordless; after all, you need to have a water hose going to it, but it doesn't have any main electricity attached.
A word of warning; this is not a high power pressure washer, but if you are looking to clean your car or windows efficiently, then this is a great little tool.
Take the pressure off
Why you can trust Real Homes
I really enjoyed my time pressure washing the heck out of my garden and car. It's amazing how much easier it is to get concrete and wood clean when you have a little bit of force behind the water, and you don't need a broom!
In the end, I bought the Karcher K2 for myself. It doesn't have the most gadgets and gizmos but it consistently excelled at every job I asked it to do. If you want the best washer possible at a great price point, then the Karcher K2 is the pressure washer to buy.
