Y2K decor is having a resurgence, and I'm so hyped seeing purple home decor on the shelves in-store and online right now. My tween self would be BEGGING my mom to buy these things, but I'm just as excited now in my mid-30s (shush, I still get IDed because of my strict skincare routine, OK).
Just as cargo pants and flatforms are coming back into fashion, home decor items from the early aughts are having their time, too. But I get it, purple (pre-Bridgerton especially), was a bit of a hard ask to introduce into your interiors. Outside, I have major Wisteria hysteria. And, lavender looks great in the garden or spun into a wreath on my front door, but it can be a difficult hue to use inside your home. However, the good thing about colorful decor items is that you can layer as many (or as few) pieces as you're comfy with.
Remember, there are loads of different shades of purple, so whether you fancy playing with plum, having a mauve, or living it up with lilac, please please please don't think of this as grandma's go-to palette. In fact, we've got a whole guide on how to decorate with lilac for you to browse afterward.

Lavender is an elevated version of lilac, and we're living for the flower-inspired color of this beloved cookware item. It's already one of our favorite non-stick pans, but apparently, it also makes the cut for singer-songwriter Selena Gomez. Extra points for this company being woman and immigrant-owned, too. Imagine the smug smile on your face as you pop this on the table at your next dinner party. We see you.

If there's one home fragrance that ticks the box for Emily in Paris decor vibes, it's the Overose Euphoriasme candle. This luxury candle promises notes of warm croissant, crème brulée, and rosewater macarons. If you want your home to smell like a boulangerie (that's bakery in French), add this to your basket.

Pop the prosecco and add a pinch of purple while you're at it. This set of four champagne coupes is on sale at Macy's RN, so you can celebrate in style and on a budget. They're made from non-leaded crystal and are dishwasher-safe so you can clink, drink, and not stand by the sink! A sassy addition to your bar cart that doesn't feel as formal as flutes or your mom's best glassware.
$37.95
Whether you're a college-goer in need of a caffeine boost for that paper or a twenty-to-thirty-something that just likes java, get your hands on this coffee dripper. Making pour-over coffee is super easy if you're not ready to commit to buying one of the best coffee makers. Just be sure to grab some paper filters, too. Get the larger size (it's literally $2 more and is great for when friends come around).
$20.49/£17.26
You won't need to be a girl scout to fall in love with this knot throw cushion! It's pretty, plush, and perfect for a living room or in the bedroom. Many people don't think to check Amazon's home decor inventory, but it's one of the best places for grabbing a bargain with fast shipping.
$34/£12
It's all about abstract shapes and melted decor in 2023. Well, at least according to Pinterest. It noted that weirdcore will take over our homes. If you're not ready to go full-on surrealist, then this large glass vase is a subtle nod to the trend. We love how @carolinastorm has styled it with rustic foliage on a wooden stand.
$329/£289
If you really want to make a statement (and stay organized), look no further than this short lilac locker by Mustard Made. It works well as a hallway console, TV storage unit, or home office storage cabinet. It's giving us all the college party energy with none of the night-after hangover!
From $56.99/£48.01
Whether you participated in cheerleading or not in high school or college, you can't tell me this pom pom comforter isn't cute. These little deets add a subtle tactile finish to your purple bedroom decor. As far as the tog goes, it's got a great weight that will work for year-round use. The washed microfiber material can be cleaned on a cold setting in your washer, too.
$32
Give mid-week meals for one some flower power with this adorable cocotte from Le Creuset. Whether it's a pot pie, dauphinoise potatoes, or fruit cobbler, this is great for giving individual portions some pizzazz. Once you're done, pop this nonporous, non-reactive, and scratch-resistant stoneware pick in the dishwasher.
