Behr has just released their Color of Year 'Canyon Dusk' a paired back terracotta shade that at least one expert says has the potential to be the next millennial pink.
The Santa Ana-based paint manufacturer announced Canyon Dusk as the color we should spread across walls, doors, and windows this 2021. On revealing Canyon Dusk as the Color of the Year, Behr labeled the shade as 'reassuring' while comparing its aura to an 'awe-inspiring desert landscape to the color of sunbaked clay'.

Its earthy tones have the power to warm up any room just in time for a spring refresh. Could Canyon Dusk be the calming millennial pink we all need this year? Some interior designers would think so, and we are inclined to agree.
'Behr's Color of the Year, Canyon Dusk, is the perfect replacement for the Millennial Pink trend that dominated interiors for several years' declared Stefani Stein of Stefani Stein Inc.
'I love the more nuanced, peachy nude interpretation of pink that has been gracing walls and furnishings the past year or two,' he explains.
It's perfect for people craving a departure from all beige everything but aren't fully ready to embrace a colorful space. I can imagine it in a space with ivory linen and rich mohair paired with organic wood materials,' Stefani added.

'We love this particular tone of pink because it reads more as a neutral,' she explains. 'We think this would be an amazing hue for kitchen cabinets if you're craving some color in the kitchen, as it will feel modern and cool instead rather than reading like a 1950s pink kitchen.'
'We also love this tone for washroom walls - we picture it paired with warm calacatta marble and a vintage washstand. Afraid of a big commitment? This would also make a terrific front door color.'
