Sure, it's only a week into September, but the new Asda Home range has us all excited for autumn and winter. We love a change in season, and the transition into autumn has to be our fave. Digging out all the sheepskin blankets, lighting all the candles, switching to your thicker duvet... oh, we just love it. So you can imagine that we fell in love pretty quickly with all the rustic colours and cosy vibes of the new Asda Home collection...
And since we know you love Asda Home as much as us (come on, who doesn't love affordable homeware that you can pick up while buying last minute bolognese ingredients?), we rounded up some of our fave pieces to get you inspired for your budget room makeovers...
Love finding great value home stuff? Make sure you keep an eye on our deals hub page for all the offers going on across our favourite brands.
1. Gorgeous but affordable cushions and lighting
Why you can trust Real Homes
Let's start off with where we all love to update for autumn: the living room. It's by far the space we spend the most time in at this time of year, so it's lovely when the days get cooler and dark to give it a bit of a cosy makeover. This really doesn't have to mean doing a lot and it really doesn't have to cost a lot either. Try just switching up your cushions (or just adding more) and you'll already start to notice a difference.
These gorgeous muted toned cushions are really affordable. That pink tufted cushion? £8! It's just £8. And we see you eyeing up that gorgeous woven lampshade – changing your lighting is another easy autumn update – well, that's only £30.
2. Bedlinen and throws for a cosy feel
Bedroom next. Again, a room you definitely want to be making feel as cosy and welcoming as possible at this time of year. We love the colours in this Asda Home bedroom collection. There's a nice twist on all the hues you would expect in an autumn collection – the greens are a bit brighter and the coral pinks add the perfect pop of colour. It all works beautifully with the natural wood and the textures of the sheepskin and knitted pouffe too. Prices start from just £8!
3. A chic but cheap kitchen accessories collection
The kitchen isn't somewhere you might think is in need of an autumnal update, but something as simple as buying some new plates or switching up any displays you might have going on can make a difference. These matching mugs and storage jars would be perfect for adding to your kitchen side to get into some of those autumnal colours. Add in a couple of stacked chopping boards and there you have it.
4. Tableware with a supermarket price tag
We couldn't not give the gorgeous tableware in the new Asda Home collection a quick mention. Pale pink seems to be a really big colour this autumn and it's so nice to see something a bit different than all the oranges, greys and browns you usually get in A/W collections.
5. Bathroom buys that look good everywhere else, too
When it comes to switching up your interiors with the seasons, accessories are key and Asda Home definitely has you covered in that department. These rose tinted glass vases start from just £7 and that stoneware vase is only £15 and has been a bit of a hit on Instagram (keep your eyes peeled because it's selling out as soon as it goes back in stock!). All you need now is some super stylish pampas grass and there's your quick, stylish update sorted.
6. Cutesy granny chic that's perfect for autumn
We get that these owl wall ornaments are going to be a bit of a love hate thing, but we simply couldn't leave them out. There's is something gloriously nostalgic going on here; they remind us of decor that our granny would have on her hallway wall, but we are kind of loving it. It helps that they are just £12 too.
