Amazon Prime Day 2024 has just been announced to run from July 16-17. The annual sale is returning for the tenth year and promises hundreds of thousands of deals for Prime members. You can save big on a wide selection of popular brands including electronics, homeware, fashion, and beauty.

What is Amazon Prime Day?

Amazon Prime Day is the retailer's largest sale of the year and begin as a celebration of Prime customers in 2015. It's been going strong ever since. You can usually find thousands of products on sale and special promotions available globally over this 48-hour shopping event. Last year marked the biggest Prime Day in history, with over $2.5 billion worth of deals snagged by savvy shoppers.

Pre-2020, Amazon Prime Day was only 24 hours long, much like Black Friday, but it has since been extended, such is the popularity.

During this annual blowout, Amazon will offer plenty of discounted buys, including homeware and outdoor items. There will be deals on its own products, too, like Echo and Halo devices, as well as savings on small businesses selling items such as cleaning supplies, home fragrances, and decor. 

When is Amazon Prime Day 2024?
