Aldi advent calendars seem to get better year on year. And it ain't all about chocolate anymore either. This year we've got toy advent calendars, wooden advents calendars, dog advent calendars (not real dogs – although can you imagine a real puppy advent calendar, cruelty aside?!) and, wait for it, A WINE ADVENT CALENDAR. That means a mini bottle of booze for every day in December. Errr, yes please.

So as well as the wine advent calendar (that we will for sure be picking up – it's £49.99 but just think of all the drink you get for that), there are loads more under 18-friendly picks. Harry Potter fans are covered, with the Harry Potter advent calendar, Disney lovers are covered with the Disney advent calendar and your dog is covered with the dog advent calendar. Yes, it's for dogs.
