The new Habitat Spring Summer collection has arrived, and it's bringing the warmth and light that we all really need right now. We LOVE this new range: it's very Mid-century Modern, with a touch of the 1970s about it: a lot of oranges and terracotta shades going on. Plus, there are some really funky prints that would be perfect for giving your home a seasonal update.
Take a look at the new collection below and for lots more design ideas head over to our hub page.
Here are those funky patterns we mentioned. Rugs seem to be the standout pieces of the new collection, and we especially like these two – Symbols and Novak. These types of simple, playful designs in muted colours are everywhere at the moment and offer the perfect way to add some subtle pattern and colour to any room.
We had to throw some love at this Malibu rug: the colours are bang on trend, the palm tree print is super stylish, and who wouldn't want to bring some sunny California vibes into their home?
Yes, that incredible chair is also part of the new collection. If you are a rattan lover (who isn't these days?), this Sura chair is one to add to your collection.
Moving on to furniture, there are some very cool new sofas, all very sculptural and slightly unusual. The Daisy chaise would be the perfect addition to a hallway or, if you have got the room, the corner of a bedroom. The teal velvet works so well with the other colours in the collection – ochre, pink, terracotta – but, if you are after something more subtle, it comes in a dark grey, too.
The Kirby range is new to Habitat this month. It's got almost a school-room look to it with the oak wood and contrasting glossy red. The prices are really affordable too, with pieces starting from just £50. The desk is compact, so perfect for small spaces, and you can complete the look with the matching chair.
