*Kind of. Last year we went mad for the 'buy an Ikea Christmas tree, get a £20 voucher' deal and it's back for 2020!

Yasss the Ikea Christmas tree deal is back! As you are probably aware, at Realhomes.com, the serious countdown to Christmas begins in October, but we've been planning Christmas since July so we are already feeling preeeetty festive. As it would seem is the rest of the country, so many people have started decorating early this year, and hey why not? If any year was the year to be a bit extra with the festive cheer 2020 is it.

So yes, once again our fave Swedish home store is giving all customers a £20 voucher to spend in-store when they buy a real £29 tree. So, you can either see that as an excuse to buy £20 worth of whatever after Christmas or you can think of it as your tree costing just nine quid. Or both. Either way, it's a gigantic bargain that shouldn't be missed.

But obviously, this year things look a little different, so the way you can get your Ikea Christmas tree is a little different too. Keep scrolling for details and for all our Christmas tree decorating ideas check out our gallery.

The Christmas trees are sourced from around the UK and are available from available at participating IKEA stores in the UK from Sunday 22nd November. 'But Ikea will still be closed then' we hear you shout, yes yes we know, so how it works is you reserve a tree online and then pick it up from the car park of your nearest Ikea –how festive.

You will pay for £29 for the tree on collection and then you get your £20 voucher to spend in-store in the New Year (between the 18th January to 28th February 2021). Something to get you through the January blues at least…

'For many, a beautifully decorated tree is the heart of the home at Christmas time, so we’re proud to continue to offer our customers affordable fresh trees through our much-anticipated Christmas tree deal.' says Anna Liakh, Commercial Activities Leader, IKEA UK and Ireland.

'The delicate scent of pine needles throughout the home is one of our favourite Christmas fragrances, lifting everyone’s spirits during the festive season and we want as many people as possible to be able to experience that, particularly as Christmas will likely look different this year. What’s more, shoppers can redeem their £20 voucher across a whole range of homewares in-store, making the offer a gift that truly keeps on giving this Christmas.' Sounds like a fab deal to us!
