B&Q kitchens have just had an update, and we're SERIOUSLY impressed. The new GoodHome collection is a budget-friendly, eye-pleasing collection designed to suit a range of house styles and it's totally blown all other DIY store kitchens out of the water. Even bigger bonus? Their old kitchen collection – which isn't too shabby either – is on sale at a massive 40 per cent. A win win if you ask us.

Our favourite 5 new B&Q kitchens

The Garcinia Gloss Stone Shaker kitchen with integrated handles (above) is shown here in a matt stone finish (but is also available in a darker grey). This is a versatile style that’s well suited to a traditional or a contemporary home. Prices for an eight unit galley kitchen start at £1,848.

These Chia dark wood doors (above) are fab for a contemporary look kitchen, bringing warmth and texture to your kitchen for a welcoming feel. The perfect match for practical dark-coloured worktops, too. The kitchen also comes in a lighter and greyer wood look if this finish isn't on the nose for you. And the price is pretty attractive: an eight unit galley kitchen would cost from just £948.

We love love love the Alisima white gloss slab kitchen (above), which also comes in grey. The doors are lacquered to give them depth, and because the glass-like finish is super reflective, it makes this kitchen a great choice for smaller spaces as it reflects light into the kitchen. The Alpinia Oak Shaker style kitchen (above) is a real crowd-pleaser. The classic framed doors are pleasingly chunky, simple and functional. The Santini Gloss White Slab kitchen (formerly known as the IT Glass White Slab – now that's rock 'n' roll) – is a bit of a Bulthaup lookalike if you ask us. It combines simple lines with a smooth gloss finish for an ultra-minimalist look. Perfect for modern homes, small spaces and kitchen diners for reflecting light and making a room feel bigger. Also available in Anthracite and Cream, an eight unit galley kitchen would have cost you from around £1,017 but is on sale for £781. Bargain.
