Oh, Colorado – so many dream homes in the mountains, so little time to daydream about them all. Whether you're a ski enthusiast, or just love hiking and walking through the mountains, there's nowhere quite like it – and there are some seriously luxurious properties to feast your eyes on (or to buy, if you're so very lucky). From traditional log cabin-style properties to sprawling estates, we've rounded up our current Colorado favorites. If only someone would gift us one of these houses for Christmas.

1. The woodland retreat with an outdoor hot tub

We just can't stop looking at this amazing bathroom with spectacular views.

4. The luxury Aspen home with a six-acre estate

Isn't this just the cosiest home to spend the fall in? Just moments away from the base of Tiehack lift, Aspen, this five-bed, five-bath home features private access to the outdoors from each bedroom, movie theatre, two bars, and – did we mention the views? There's also a detached home office and an exercise room. The decor is a luxurious combination of wood beams and cream furnishings. We could easily spend all of winter here.
